1. Service provision
AthiNet provides internet connectivity services within published coverage areas. Service availability at a specific address is confirmed after a site survey. Advertised speeds are the maximum capacity of the subscribed package and may vary with in-home wiring, WiFi conditions and the number of connected devices.
2. Billing and payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is made through the M-Pesa channels published on this site. Accounts not settled by the due date may be suspended until payment is received, and reconnection is automatic once payment is confirmed.
3. Equipment
Routers, antennas and other network equipment supplied as part of an installation remain the property of AthiNet unless purchased outright. Customers are responsible for the safekeeping of installed equipment; loss or wilful damage may attract a replacement charge.
4. Fair and acceptable use
Unlimited packages are intended for normal residential or business use. Services may not be resold without written agreement, and may not be used for unlawful activity, network abuse, spam or activity that degrades service for other customers.
5. Support and maintenance
We aim to resolve faults promptly and may carry out planned maintenance that briefly interrupts service. Where possible, planned maintenance is scheduled outside peak hours and communicated in advance.
6. Cancellation
Customers may cancel a subscription by notifying support before the next billing cycle. Any AthiNet-owned equipment must be returned in working condition on cancellation.
7. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through our published contact channels. Questions can be sent to hello@athinet.com.
